Roots

Christopher Howe was raised in Southwest Philadelphia in a working-class environment that shaped his values early in life. Hard work, accountability, and showing up every day were not ideas, they were expectations.
He attended West Catholic High School for Boys, graduating in 1986, carrying those same values forward into adulthood.
In 1987, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard. That decision set the tone for a lifetime of structured service and hands-on responsibility. His time in the Coast Guard built discipline, technical skill, and a deep respect for systems that people rely on every day.
After his military service, Christopher continued working in telecommunications, healthcare infrastructure, and operations. Much of his career involved solving real-world problems in environments where downtime was not an option.
Those roots shaped more than his career. They shaped how he interacts with people. He has always stayed close to working communities, small business owners, and everyday residents who keep local economies moving.
That connection to people and real-world work continues to influence how he approaches leadership and decision making today.
